Pol de la Cruz

Pol De La Cruz was born in Lleida, Spain, in 1995. She received his B.S. in chemistry from Universitat Rovira i Virgili in 2016. She did the final project degree of Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Anna Maria Masdeu working in the use of CO2 in metal catalyzed processes using 4N donor ligands. In 2017 he started his Master Degree in “Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design” in the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and did . He did the final Master project in the synthesis, characterization and application of chiral thioeter-carbene ligands, under the supervision of Prof. Montserrat Diéguez. He has recently started his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Montserrat Diéguez and Dr. Oscar Pàmies. His research is focused on the design, synthesis and screening of modular ligand libraries and their application in several asymmetric metal catalyzed reactions.
