During 6 months the student joins a laboratory to develop the Master Project, in an autonomous way but under the supervision of a group researcher.
The Master Project can be carried out in the fields of synthesis, catalysis or quantum chemistry, and with this objective the students will join a research group working in these fields in the laboratories of URV or ICIQ for developing a specific project.
It is also possible to perform the Master Project in a company working in R&D.
There are a range of companies collaborating with the Master at the national and international level (see the list of companies collaborating...).

For developing the Master Project the students will be confronted to the following activities:
  • Bibliographic searches
  • Experiment design
  • Conducting experiments
  • Interpretation of results
  • Writing a final scientific report
  • Oral presentation of the work focusing on the scientific context, results and discussion
